What does Rivaux actually track? +
Rivaux monitors six public intelligence channels: website changes (HTTP fetch with content-hash diff), pricing pages, job postings, blog & RSS feeds, LinkedIn public profile and company-page signals, and Google News mentions.

Rivaux deliberately does not track: social-media sentiment (Twitter/X, Reddit threads), review-site scraping (G2, Capterra, TrustRadius), paid-ad monitoring, or code-repo signals (GitHub stars, commit activity). See the pricing page for the channel-by-channel breakdown of what each tier includes.
How is the daily briefing generated and when do I get it? +
Every night, the monitors we ran across all your tracked competitors collect any diffs they detected — new pricing tiers, blog posts, hiring surges, LinkedIn headcount changes, news mentions. GPT-4o-mini reads those diffs and writes a single morning briefing summarising what changed, why it matters, and which competitors moved.

The briefing is delivered by email every morning at approximately 07:00 in your local timezone. If you have configured a Slack incoming webhook on the Settings page, the same briefing is also posted to your Slack channel as a Block Kit message.
What do the pricing tiers include? +
Lite is free forever and tracks 1 competitor with a daily AI briefing. Pro is €99/month and tracks up to 10 competitors across all six intelligence channels with Slack integration. Team is €199/month and tracks up to 50 competitors with a multi-seat dashboard and per-team Slack routing. The full comparison table — including what's in each tier — is on the pricing page.
Where does the data come from, and how fresh is it? +
All data comes from public web sources. Website checks run every 6 hours via HTTP fetch with content-hash diffing. Jobs, blog, LinkedIn, and Google News are checked twice daily. Blog/RSS feeds are polled directly. Briefings are generated once per morning.

A few caveats worth knowing: LinkedIn may rate-limit our crawlers, in which case we set a linkedin_snapshots.blocked flag and back off automatically. Google News depends on Google surfacing the article in its results. RSS feeds depend on the competitor actually publishing one — if they don't, we fall back to sitemap crawling.
How do I cancel, and what happens to my tracked data? +
Cancel from your account settings in seconds — no fees, no questions asked. Your access stays active until the end of your current billing period.

All competitor records, snapshots, and historical briefings are deleted from our Postgres database within 30 days of account closure.
